Groundz: We Found Excellent Grounding Barefoot Shoes
A grounding shoe company with leather shoes, wide toe and zero drop!
Ooh you'll to want to check out Groundz Barefoot Footware.
I finally came across a wonderful looking company to buy grounding, barefoot shoes from. I've seen some that were close. They had grounding, and wide toe but nasty thick soles and that just going to hurt your foot over time. Groundz hits all the markers on the heads because we've also been trying to find some leather shoes and flip-flops so that those micro-plastics from rubber shoes do go straight into your bloodstream through your feet on those hot summer days.
When I found Groundz I felt it was time to share these. I haven't bought them yet, because in my opinion they are bit pricey, but really they're not when you think about those Air Jordans and they are destroy your feet - it's really no comparison. The highest I see is the Men's Clay Chelsea Boot for $220. I'm seeing others for $165. So it's really pretty considering the value, but that depends on how you shift your spending habits.
The Grounds a has wonderful looking shoes that I imagine would hold up for years, because the quality of the build is great and they're leather. Ain't no plastic junk. I feel like we'll pay more up front for these but over time the value balances out compared to what you may be used to. Definitly check these out and as always, let us know if you have any companies you've found that need to be shared!
I have not tried these yet, but when our budget aligns I plan to. In the meantime I wanted to pass this along since it's pretty difficult to find a company like this. Please shoot us an email below if you have a review you'd like to add to this post!
I also bought the tools to make our silly rubber shoes into grounding shoes, so I may could fix up your shoes for you for a super decent price in the near future. If that goes well I'll make another post on it. Also I bought a multi meter for testing the voltage to make sure it's working. More on that soon.
We love sharing our healthy journey to help make yours easier, but we don't know everything. If you know something we don't, please shoot us an email with as much research as you can! We love to keep digging and ditching.
