Heavy Metal, Chlorine Detox Bath
Despite the chemicals in the tap water, this is how we enjoy a great detox bath after sticky situations.
Omnon is owned by a local fella named Ashley who knows his craft. I called his booth the Mushroom Kingdom, but this guy is seriously the king of mushrooms. He comes from Eureka Springs every week to tend his booth at the Bentonville Farmers Market and it always looks awesome. He's been the primary mushroom vendor at the market for at least 7 years that I'm aware of. Secretly a legend.
At first I had no idea why he sold mushrooms. I had heard mushrooms are good for you but it seemed like as I was growing up the voice that say they're poisonous was louder. Now that we've been learning about natural healing and nutrition I realize that Omnom has been a gold mine sitting in front of me the whole time. He sells local-grown, organic mushrooms, mushroom powders to mix in drinks like Lions Mane and Reshi, organic mushroom coffee, mushroom oils & more I don't know about yet.
The benefits of these mushrooms are exponentially more than I thought. They don't like much anything either so don't worry about them changing the taste of anything. I use them in hot chocolate every day to keep inflammation low (which is a huge deal by the way) and for focus too replacing my past need for caffeine. Ask him which ones do which. He's really humble about it, but take it from me, these are little miracle plants the Good Lord made to keep you healthy. Get some powders for your coffee or shakes or whatever makes sense for you. I'm still blown away that these were in front of me while I was working at Downtown Bentonville. I literally took images of his booth every year for 5 years and I had no idea what was in front of me. If that's where you're at, then take it from me and get on the mushroom train.
Aside from mushrooms he makes organite in various shapes and sizes to help with EMFs. I've bought one with a little bee on it and it's pretty rad.
You can catch him at the Bentonville Farmers Market on the Bentonville Square every Saturday from 7:30am - 1pm.
