Protect Yourself & Family From Chlorine

Here's the scoop.
The Problem
All toilet paper at Walmart, Target, Sam's, gas stations etc...have bleach, parabens and chemicals that go right onto your blood stream when you wipe. These casue cancer and hormone issues including infertility. It's worth noting that some of the most sensitive/ absorbent places on your body are your ears, bottom of your feet, your mouth, nose and private parts. Anything touching these body parts should be carefully thought through.
Now I understand this still seems like a low priority swap. (In fact it was one of those changes I waited longest to do.) In truth though, we use this stuff a lot and I'm telling ya, all this little stuff adds up, so the more you can swap the less sick you will be. Are a lot of these chemicals going into your bloodstream when you wipe? I imagine not, but we use these every single day (especially women) and that will certainly add up. And you gotta remember that theres so many more places where these chemical get in you. If the freakin receipt paper has them, then you get to place where you realize that we need to do what we can with the information we've been blessed with. Always within reason, fear causes sickness too- so we don't need to lose our minds, but we also can't be OK with the way these companies treats us.
Where can you get good toilet paper?
The reason this took so long to swap was because it seemed so expensive and it was. All I could find were places online that charge a premium and roll with subscriptions we can't afford.
Now theres two great places here in Northwest Arkansas and yes it's plenty soft and effective. No it's not the same stupid Charmin, but those are soft because they're died in bleach and chemicals. Don't fall for that mess. If you've been brainwashed by TV to think you need to softest toilet paper, just remember that while they were alway competing over that aspect, those companies were not telling you how that very aspect was poisoning you. Get a little mad about it. Mad enough to get rid of it.
Caboo Bamboo Toilet Paper
The best priced non-toxic toilet paper is the 8 Pack of Caboo at Akins (it has a little green owl on it) but only by a few cents. It's also Bamboo so unlike trees, it grows back way quicker and it way more sustainable. Even though this is white it is "bleached" without using toxins from what I've gathered. Similar to the Chemex coffee filters.
Who Gives A Crap
The Wellnest Shop also has clean, toilet paper. Just barely more per roll at $1.50 a roll, but if you live on that side of town it can be worth it to support a smaller local business run by awesome momma's. Seriously this place rocks. They have everything that we could only get online, saving us on shipping and it's a great refinery too. You've got to check them out.

Grow Your Own Toilet Paper
My head is full of info on just about everything this and this is clearly evidence of that lol. So if you want to grow you own toilet paper I can get you started on that. I haven't done it myself, but look into these plants and check out these videos.

So if you didn't know that your toilet paper was an issue, I always recomend you do what you can when you can. Your body does a good job fighting off most things, but you can make it work less hard which will help you get better rest too.
